PREPARATION GUIDE FOR YOUR TATTOO SESSION

Please read this carefully. These guidelines are important and directly impact the final quality of your tattoo.

Before Your Session

  1. One week before: Prioritize your health. Avoid getting sick, food poisoning, or anything that could cause inflammation. Eat well and support your immune system. Also, please make sure your children are healthy and arrange for them to stay home on the day of the session.
  2. On the day of the session: Get a good night’s sleep — it will help you stay comfortable during the process. Skip coffee and energy drinks in the morning. Eat a solid, nourishing breakfast.
  3. Wear comfortable, loose clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area. Keep in mind that clothes may get stained. Avoid light-colored or bright outfits (they don’t photograph well) and don’t wear makeup on or near the area.
  4. Bring something to keep you warm — a blanket, warm socks, or a hoodie can be very helpful.
  5. Bring food and snacks with you. Tattooing feels significantly more painful on an empty stomach.
  6. Don’t make any plans for the evening. Arrange your transportation home in advance, especially if we finish late (sometimes around midnight). Rushing at the end affects the quality of the work.
  7. Please do not drive yourself to or from the session. You may feel dizzy or tired after a long session.
  8. Payment is accepted in cash or by bank transfer on the day of the session.

Skin Preparation

  1. No tanning: The skin must not be tanned. Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds on the area before your session. We cannot work on tanned skin and achieve a good result. If the skin is tanned, the session may need to be rescheduled.
  2. Moisturize daily: Starting one month before your session, moisturize the area 1–2 times a day using Bepanthen Plus, Nivea Soft, or CeraVe (especially good for dry skin).
  3. Moles: If you have moles in the tattoo area, please consult a dermatologist beforehand. Large or raised moles may need to be removed before we can proceed.
  4. Hair removal: If the area has a lot of hair, consider permanent hair removal (electro-epilation) well in advance.
  5. Exfoliation: You may gently exfoliate the skin two weeks and one week before the session. However, do not scrub or shave the area in the days immediately leading up to your appointment.

Following these steps helps ensure the best possible outcome and shows respect for the time and effort that goes into your tattoo.

Thank you! I’m looking forward to creating something special for you.
